    Your order enters our queue and is assigned to an artisan who specialises in your product type.

  2. Within 5 minutes

    Payment Confirmed

    Payment processed securely via Razorpay. You receive an order confirmation SMS and email with full details.

  3. 1–3 business days

    Crafting Begins

    Your artisan selects the wood grain by hand, shapes, sands, and applies the base finish. No machines. No shortcuts.

  4. +1–4 daysPersonalised orders only

    Personalisation

    For engraved or calligraphy orders: we send your digital mockup first and begin only after your explicit approval.

  5. 1 business day

    Quality Inspection

    12-point quality check: structural integrity, finish evenness, dimension accuracy, personalisation correctness, and packaging suitability.

  6. Same day as QC

    Packaging

    Wrapped in recycled kraft, cushioned in custom foam, sealed in double-walled corrugated. Gift options applied here too.

  7. Day 5–7 typical

    Dispatched

    Handed to Delhivery or Blue Dart. Tracking number sent via SMS and email. Workshop tracking on Track My Order goes live.

An artisan spends days making your piece. We're not going to let it arrive damaged because we cut corners on packaging. Every box that leaves our workshop is packed to survive a rough courier journey — and arrive looking like a gift.

100% Plastic-Free

All packaging materials are recyclable. No bubble wrap, no polystyrene, no shrink film. We planted 200+ trees last year to offset our cardboard use.

Custom-Cut Foam Inserts

Each product is nestled in a foam insert cut to its exact dimensions — no rattling, no shifting in transit.

Recycled Kraft Paper Wrap

Products are wrapped in unbleached recycled kraft paper before being placed in the box. No plastic wrap, ever.

Double-Walled Corrugated Box

Our outer boxes use double-walled corrugated cardboard — significantly stronger than standard e-commerce packaging.

Gift Packaging Option

Add premium gift wrapping (₹99): satin ribbon, embossed tissue, and a handwritten message card from our team.

Phase 1

Workshop Tracking

From the moment your order enters the queue, Track My Order shows you live artisan-stage updates — Crafting, Personalisation, Quality Check, Packaging. This is unique to ArtisanKart.

Phase 2

Courier Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, a tracking number is sent via SMS and email. Paste it into the courier's portal — or use our Track My Order page which shows both workshop and courier status in one place.

Tracking goes live once dispatched. Workshop updates are visible as soon as your order enters the crafting queue — usually within 1–2 hours of payment confirmation.

Returns & Refunds

We have a 30-day return policy for standard items. We've written it in plain English, not legal language — because you deserve to understand exactly where you stand.

  • Unused item in original, undamaged condition
  • Returned in original packaging within 30 days of delivery

  • Manufacturing defects (any item, any time window)

  • Personalised items (change-of-mind) — made for you, can't be resold

For defective or wrong items, we arrange a free pickup from your address. For change-of-mind, a ₹99 reverse pickup fee applies.

Once we receive and inspect the return, we verify the condition and the reason for return. You'll receive an email at each step.

Personalised Items

Our Policy on Custom
& Engraved Pieces

Personalised items are made specifically for you and cannot be returned for change of mind — that's standard practice for bespoke goods. But if something goes wrong on our end, we make it right. Completely.

Why personalised items can't be returned for change of mind

Your piece was made exclusively for you — the wood was cut, shaped, and engraved with your specific text. It cannot be resold or modified for another customer. This is true of all bespoke artisan goods, from tailored clothing to custom jewellery. However, this policy only applies to change-of-mind — never to our errors.

Fully Covered — If It's Our Error

  • Wrong text engraved (different from what you submitted)
  • Wrong placement — engraving on incorrect side or position
  • Wrong product — different item sent to you
  • Item arrived damaged due to packaging failure
  • Mockup approved but production differs significantly from proof

Result: 100% replacement at no charge, or full refund — your choice.

How our approval process protects you

Digital Mockup First

We send a digital proof within 12 hours. Nothing is engraved until you approve it explicitly.

One Free Revision

Not happy with the layout or font? We revise at no extra charge before starting production.

We Own Our Mistakes

If the finished piece doesn't match the approved mockup, it's fully replaceable at our cost.

Modification window

Personalisation text can be changed within 12 hours of ordering — before the mockup is prepared. After that, changes may incur a ₹250–₹800 rework fee depending on stage. Contact us via WhatsApp for the fastest response.

Something Went Wrong?

Damaged or Incorrect
Item? We Fix It.

All our shipments are fully insured. If your order arrives damaged, has the wrong item, or doesn't match your personalisation approval — it's our responsibility, not yours. Here's exactly what to do.

Document the damage

Take photos of the damaged item and packaging immediately — ideally during or just after unboxing. Close-ups help us file an insurance claim quickly.
